Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking, and HVAC systems. You will work on state-of-the-art fleet with opportunities to grow through training and certifications.

Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience on heavy trucks, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license. Second shift hours are 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues on heavy-duty trucks.
• 5-7 years of technician experience on heavy trucks.
• Able to diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics, electrical, and braking systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chassis components and refuse body systems.
• Diagnose and repair engines, drivetrains, suspensions, and HVAC.
• Perform complex repairs on diesel fuel systems and aftertreatment.
