Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group in Georgia is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician with CDL to diagnose, inspect, and repair heavy trucks across our locations. You will perform preventative maintenance and service, and collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

This role offers on-site work with overtime and a monthly bonus incentive for upsales, plus access to free, ongoing training including MX, Cummins, and Peterbilt certifications to grow your skills and career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and pass DOT medical certification.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; communicate well with customers.
• Physically able to stand 6-8 hours; lift up to 70 pounds.
• Professional dress and safe operation of tools required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform visual inspections and repairs on diesel trucks.
• Remove parts and attachments; perform warranty repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, repair lights and wiring.
• Welding, cutting and other repairs as needed.
