Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Must have CDL within 6 months after hire.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
• Knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Completes complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Interacts with drivers to determine the nature of the complaint.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and corporate guidelines.
