Ryder is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Savannah, Georgia— providing a stable company for your career with weekly pay and excellent benefits. Hourly Pay $30.50 per hour, with bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision after 30 days.

Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy-duty vehicles, with opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, first shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years experience with heavy- and medium-duty equipment preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components and works with minimal supervision.
• Mentors junior technicians and supports operations.
