Job summary

You’ll perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles, collaborate with drivers and shop staff, and contribute to safety and quality workmanship. A CDL Class A is preferred, with extensive training and advancement potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue and scope of work.
• Maintains compliance with safety, DOT, MOT and other guidelines.
• Mentors junior technicians and supports training initiatives.
