Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive/diesel repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools confidently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to work outside.
• Basic computer skills and compliance with safety policies.
• Understand and follow Penske instructions and safety rules.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance and attendance required.
• Willing to travel for training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and repair, including diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and some electrical/cooling tasks.
• Learn new skills via technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Support supervisor and work on assigned projects.
