Job summary

Expect to work 2:30pm - 1:00am with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits. 5-7 years’ experience and ASE certifications are preferred, with CDL B advantages.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and consistently demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some (not all required) of the listed heavy truck systems.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus but not required.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• Preferred CDL B

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs complex repair and maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; Air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Engine repair and diagnostics.
• Diagnostics for diesel fuel systems and fuel systems.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• HVAC systems diagnostics and repair.
• Aftertreatment systems diagnostics and repair.
• Diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools.
• Line maintenance, welding and fabrication.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic tools.
• Complete applicable training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
