Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air brakes, engines, HVAC, and suspension systems. Work occurs on-site with some on-road service to support our fleet and drivers, using state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.

With 3 years of heavy-truck experience, you’ll operate under supervision from senior maintenance, with opportunities for training, certification support, and a clear career path

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge of chassis, braking, engine, and suspension systems.
• Performs on-site and on-road repair and maintenance.
• Identifies malfunctions using electronic tools and completes required training.
