Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in heavy-duty diesel repair.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.
• Basic tools required and willingness to operate Ryder vehicles.
• Must pass Ryder background, drug test, DOT physical, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and standard vehicle maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
• Repair components with minimal supervision; mentor Tech 1/2 as needed.
• Interact with customers/drivers to understand complaints.
• Utilize Shop Management System and document work; follow safety and DOT guidelines.
• Support operations with additional duties as required.
