Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of heavy-duty vehicles with commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of gas/diesel engines.
• PM and diagnostic repairs including AC/electrical systems.
• 4+ years relevant experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; other certifications as location requires.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues.
• Repair major engine and aftertreatment components.
• Operate shop computers and diagnostic tools proficiently.
• Coach/mentor other technicians; assist training.
• Drive Ryder vehicles as needed and pass required tests.
