Job summary

Final Mile in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Fleet Technician 3 to diagnose, adjust and repair Class 8 tractor and trailing fleet equipment. Responsibilities include engines, electrical, brakes, cooling, transmissions, DPF/aftertreatment, steering, HVAC, DEF, and PMs; tire service as needed.

Candidate must have 4 years of experience, a high school diploma, own tools, and be willing to travel; ASE/DOT certifications preferred; strong safety and equipment documentation required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of practical tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, powertrain, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tire service.
• Welding repairs (MIG/TIG) as needed on various components.
• Document work, maintain shop safety, and communicate with drivers.
