Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Fleet Technician 3 to diagnose, adjust and repair a full range of class 8 tractor and trailing equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, PM services, tire repairs, and complex diagnostics using advanced software.

The role requires deep knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, DPF, aftertreatment, and engine electronics. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for training are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Strong Customer service and English communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust and repair class 8 tractor and trailing fleet equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services and tire repairs.
• Operate and use diagnostic software for engines and electronics.
• Maintain safety and proper documentation per SOP and DOT standards.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
