Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician III focused on preventative maintenance and advanced diagnostics forClass 7 & 8 trucks in a non-climate controlled shop environment. You will perform major repairs, diagnose failures, and train junior technicians to uphold quality standards.

The role requires welding experience, strong customer service, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. FleetPride offers comprehensive benefits, paid holidays, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Training experience
• Diagnostic experience
• Welding experience

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation or delivery to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
