Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Three years or more relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including routine maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Replaces defective components as instructed and works unsupervised on most tasks.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue and outcome of repair.
• Mentors Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels and supports fleet upkeep and safety guidelines.
