Job summary

Royal Coach Tours seeks an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee safety, reliability, compliance, and cost-effective maintenance of our motor coach fleet. You will manage preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, shop operations, parts inventory, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has extensive diesel maintenance knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate maintenance priorities with Operations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible diesel fleet maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, HVAC, drivetrains, emissions systems, and diagnostic equipment.
• Working knowledge of preventive-maintenance programs and applicable DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs for motor coaches and related fleet vehicles.
• Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate mechanics, technicians, and other maintenance employees.
• Maintain complete and accurate inspection records, work orders, repair histories, warranty documentation, and regulatory records.
• Review maintenance expenses and identify opportunities to control costs without compromising safety or reliability.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and provide after-hours assistance when operationally necessary.
