Job summary

Markent Personnel in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Senior Process Control Technician to oversee high‑pressure aluminum die casting processes on the 3rd shift. You will monitor melt temperatures, injection speeds, and cycle times, perform root‑cause analysis on defects, and drive continuous improvement to maximize first‑pass yields.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in process control within a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma or vocational degree preferred.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI and be fully authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process parameters (melt temperatures, shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, cycle times, lubrication).
• Analyze and resolve casting defects (porosity, cold shuts, soldering, blisters, flash, misruns, thermal shrinkage).
• Optimize machine parameters for new product launches and existing runs.
• Maintain process standardization with setup sheets and instructions.
• Conduct production trials with QA/engineering to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Support quality and inspection using real-time monitoring and X-ray data.
• Train floor personnel on standardized parameters and best practices.
