Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician to service imaging equipment at multiple sites in the Charlotte area. You will analyze, troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate and test complex diagnostic imaging systems while coordinating with clinical staff.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of imaging service experience, safety knowledge, and the ability to travel between facilities; on-call and off-shift work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years' imaging equipment service experience.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for high voltage and ionizing radiation.
• Ability to multi-task across projects and sites.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs highly complex diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Installs, calibrates and tests imaging equipment and systems.
• Interacts with clinical staff to ensure needs are met and provides advanced technical support.
• Documents inspections, repairs, and maintenance per procedures.
