Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in federal business development, with a primary focus on DHS.
• Demonstrated full lifecycle business development experience (opportunity identification through award).
• Deep knowledge of DHS/Fed Civ acquisition processes, contracting vehicles and procurement strategies.
• Proven ability to build and execute account plans, capture strategies, and long-range growth roadmaps.
• Experience managing pipeline and forecast reporting in Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned to DHS/Federal Civ agencies.
• Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior government leaders and officials.
• Lead account planning, call planning, and pipeline development.
• Collaborate with Capture, Proposal, Solutions, and Executive teams to execute winning strategies.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting in Salesforce.
• Represent Xcelerate at industry events and customer engagements.
• Contribute to marketing strategy, messaging, and solution positioning in defense.
