Job summary

BD in USA GA is seeking a technical leader for DFMA-driven manufacturing development of medical device assemblies. You will guide DFMA analyses, support R&D, and drive pilot lines to achieve capable, scalable production with high OEE.

You will collaborate across design, manufacturing, and quality to ensure robust processes, compliant documentation, and successful product introductions.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical/Biomedical/Chemical or equivalent.
• Min four (4) years’ experience or two (2) years’ with MS degree.
• Experience in mechanical design with focus on DFMA.
• Experience in medical device production is preferred.
• Experience in process validation, writing protocols and reports.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing technology strategy for new products and transfer to production.
• Lead pilot lines to attain process capability and OEE.
• Collaborate with R&D on design for manufacturability and validation.
• Perform DFA/DFSS analyses and establish assembly requirements.
• Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support commercialization and launch of new products with manufacturing processes.
• Lead technical reviews and drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion.
