Job summary

Laborie is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to maintain, develop, and implement equipment, processes, and technologies for operational excellence in medical devices. You will support day-to-day manufacturing, perform root cause analysis, line-down responses, operator training, and process validation, while driving cross-functional improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will lead DFA/DFM activities, analyze workflows, design equipment, and manage line validation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a master's degree.
• Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean methods.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools.
• Experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, time study, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing equipment using CAD software and other tools.
• Lead the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process.
• Manage, document, and support line validation/qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA) and create work instructions and control plans.
• Contribute to DFA/DFM activities to verify manufacturability of product designs.
