Job summary

A leading global medical technology company seeks a product and process design expert to drive medical device projects. This role requires technical leadership, managing manufacturing strategies to ensure high-quality production standards. Successful applicants will have a strong background in engineering with a focus on DFMA principles and experience in highly regulated industries. The position is based in Covington, Georgia, and involves around 25% travel, requiring close cooperation with R&D and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent field and 10 years' experience.
• 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering in Medical Device or other highly regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience in process validation and writing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing technology strategy for new products and manage pilot lines.
• Lead engineering efforts and guide in design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure designs align with manufacturability.

Skills

Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of design software

Excellent technical skills including project management

Ability to analyze data and write reports

Experience with manual and semi-automated production lines

Education

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

MBA or MS in Engineering
