Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a Senior DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to own the Agentic AI platform end-to-end across delivery, infrastructure, runtime operations, and platform health. Build and operate the backbone enabling secure, scalable platform delivery from CI/CD pipelines to cluster operations and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of BS with 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or similar roles.
• Deep CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS / Kubernetes.
• Senior AWS experience across VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, KMS.
• Experience building monitoring/logging/alerting at scale (CloudWatch/Prometheus).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code with OpenTofu / Terraform.
• Experience with trunk-based development and MR-driven change.
• Security-focused engineering including secrets management and audit evidence.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Agentic AI platform end-to-end across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and runtime reliability.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI for secure, repeatable delivery workflows.
• Implement automated testing and quality gates in the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead ownership of Amazon EKS / Kubernetes environments including upgrades and RBAC.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure (VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, KMS).
• Manage infrastructure as code with OpenTofu / Terraform.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Develop actionable alerts and SLO-aligned thresholds for resilient delivery.
• Implement DAST and runtime security testing in pipelines (OWASP ZAP, Burp, Nuclei).
• Support security-focused CI/CD practices including secrets management and least privilege.
• Drive trunk-based development and automated release quality controls.
