Job summary

Peraton Labs in Maryland is seeking a Senior DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to own the Agentic AI platform end-to-end, from CI/CD to runtime operations and security.

You will design and operate EKS clusters, AWS infrastructure, and a robust observability stack, ensuring scalable, auditable, and production-ready delivery. This role emphasizes trunk-based development, automated testing, and compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• BS with 8+ years, MS with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or closely related fields
• Strong CI/CD and cloud infrastructure experience
• Hands-on with AWS and Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and security-focused pipelines

Responsibilities

• Own the Agentic AI platform end-to-end across CI/CD, cloud infra, Kubernetes ops, observability, and reliability
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI for secure, repeatable deployments
• Lead EKS/Kubernetes management, RBAC, Helm, and GitOps workflows
• Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and Prometheus/Grafana
• Implement automated testing, security testing, and release quality gates
