Job summary

Rancher Government Solutions seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to deliver expert-level Kubernetes and security-focused deployments for federal customers. You will lead hands-on engineering tasks, architectural decisions, and client engagements to ensure mission-ready container environments.

The role requires TS//SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, extensive DevSecOps and CI/CD expertise, and the ability to translate complex government requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of professional or military experience.
• 10+ years of experience working as a field engineer, professional services consultant, or hands-on DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer focused on infrastructure and container technology.
• Requires TS//SCI Clearance w/ Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert DevSecOps engineering leadership for government customers and Rancher-based Kubernetes solutions.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and security tooling to meet government standards.
• Develop reference architectures and PoCs to solve complex customer problems.
• Collaborate with customers to integrate solutions into long-term IT infrastructures.
• Communicate customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
• Lead technical partnerships and give technical talks or workshops.
