Job summary

Rancher Government Solutions is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in Reston, Virginia. You will drive mission success by delivering expert-level implementation of Rancher products within the Federal Government and collaborating directly with clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of professional experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and deep expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. Exceptional communication skills are essential for conveying complex technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience working as a field engineer, professional services consultant, or hands-on DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer focused on infrastructure and container technology.
Active TS clearance preferred but not required.
Deep knowledge of containers and orchestration for operations, development, and security.

Responsibilities

Deliver expert-level implementation as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer.
Act as a trusted technical leader and hands-on engineer for government agency customers.
Provide expert-level DevOps engineering support across the Rancher product portfolio.
