Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in the United States is seeking a software developer to join an agile scrum team supporting the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) system. You will design, develop, test, and debug software across the full life cycle, applying DevSecOps practices and ensuring operational stability.

The role requires strong Java development, Kubernetes, and the ability to navigate Linux/Windows environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance; eligible for Poly
• Proven Java development experience and Kubernetes proficiency
• Experience troubleshooting across Linux/Windows environments
• Familiar with COTS/FOSS integration and software deployment
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate agile software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software with logical and mathematical solutions
• Apply standards, processes, and tools across the development life cycle
• Translate customer requirements into software features and HW/SW deployments
• Correct program errors and document development work; ensure software standards are met
• Validate features and use cases in implemented designs
