Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space seeks a DevOps professional to design, build, and verify software and hardware across the full system life cycle. You will work with containerization (Kubernetes/Helm/Docker) in cloud environments, implement IaC, and support Agile development practices in a security‑driven environment.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance; located at a Lockheed facility with special access, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with containerization in a cloud environment (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd).
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Packer).
• Experience in an Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence.
• CI/CD deployments and automated build/config tools (GitLab, ArgoCD).
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance; facility access required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tech planning, design, development, integration, and verification for the full system life cycle.
• Translate customer requirements into HW/SW feature definitions and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure software/hardware standards; support secure, scalable deployments and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate across teams to optimize performance, cost, and schedule.
