Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an early career software professional to contribute to the GVS suite of services within an Agile Scrum team. You'll plan, develop, test, and sustain software for mission-critical GEOINT workflows using JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript in a Linux environment.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance at start and familiarity with container basics such as Docker or Kubernetes. Join us to build innovative, secure software solutions across the Space domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM with 2 years of experience, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of software development with JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Linux, PostgreSQL, or Apache HTTP Server.
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes container concepts.
• TS clearance required at start; ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, develop, test, document, and debug software for mission problems.
• Support sustainment and new development for the GVS suite within an Agile Scrum team.
• Work in JavaScript or other languages, with Linux command line tasks and data pipelines.
