Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program in Huntsville, AL. You will drive secure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives, delivering cloud-based solutions across AWS and hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and product teams to improve deployment automation and reliability. Candidates with prior government program experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of DevSecOps/CI-CD experience.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud environments, secure software development practices, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with automated security tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, Anchore, Twistlock, or Nessus preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Integrate security controls, compliance validations, and automated vulnerability scanning into deployment pipelines.
• Support containerized application deployments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and product teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve automation processes.
