Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer to modernize federal systems with secure cloud technologies, automation, and scalable software delivery. This on-site role is in Huntsville, AL.

You will design, implement, and optimize secure pipelines, IaC, and cloud deployment processes across AWS and hybrid environments, ensuring compliance with stringent federal security requirements. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, cloud automation, or secure software delivery.
Hands-on with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS.
Strong knowledge of secure development practices, automated vulnerability management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments.
Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
Integrate security controls, compliance checks, code quality validation, and vulnerability scanning into the SDLC.
Collaborate with software, cloud, QA teams, and stakeholders to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance deployment pipelines, logging, monitoring, and release readiness.
