Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to support federal modernization, cloud transformation, and mission-critical initiatives. This on-site role is based in Huntsville, AL, with responsibilities spanning secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments across AWS and on-prem environments.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years in DevSecOps, hands-on experience with GitLab CI/Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering or related infrastructure environments with a Bachelor's degree.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization/orchestration.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, tests, security validation, and deployments across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Develop IaC solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, code-quality checks, monitoring, and compliance throughout the SDLC.
• Partner with software, cloud, QA, data, and product teams to troubleshoot deployments and improve environment stability.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and document automation processes and deployment procedures.
