Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program in Huntsville, AL. The role centers on secure automation and CI/CD pipeline development across AWS and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities include designing pipelines, building infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, and integrating security controls in deployments. A TS clearance and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevSecOps or CI/CD engineering.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Strong AWS cloud knowledge and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience with security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Anchore, Twistlock, or Nessus.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, tests, security scans, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate security controls and automated vulnerability scanning into deployment pipelines.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and product teams to improve automation.
