Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to modernize federal systems. This on‑site role in Huntsville, AL focuses on secure CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud deployments across AWS and on‑prem environments.

You will integrate security throughout delivery, automate provisioning with Terraform/CloudFormation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable software delivery for national missions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
8+ years in DevSecOps, CI/CD, or cloud automation.
Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines automating builds, testing, security validation, and deployments across cloud and on‑premises environments.
Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies to automate provisioning and deployment workflows.
Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, code‑quality checks, monitoring, and compliance validation throughout the SDLC.
Collaborate with software, cloud, QA, data, and product teams to troubleshoot deployments and improve environment stability.
Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and document automation processes and IaC templates.
