Job summary

Serco is seeking an Experienced DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will embed security into the DevOps lifecycle, design secure CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure using IaC tools.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, with cloud, scripting, and container experience central to success. You will collaborate across development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery, monitor for

Qualifications

Requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years in DevOps, security, software, or cloud engineering.
Proficiency with Azure; experience with CI/CD tools and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong scripting skills; travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate security tools and practices into development and deployment workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for systems.
Stay current with emerging security threats and best practices.
