Job summary

Giesler LLC is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their distributed operations team supporting the U.S. Navy Spectral program.

You will develop modular cloud technologies, optimize infrastructure, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for high-availability, low-latency distributed systems across cloud and on-prem environments. The role emphasizes security, automation, and scalable architectures to enable rapid deployment and reliability for warfighter-ready software, with TS clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or related field.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python/Java/Bash/Go).
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation in distributed environments.
• Linux admin background (RedHat/CentOS).

Responsibilities

• Deploy infrastructure as code across distributed cloud/on-prem data centers.
• Deploy distributed databases and queues (Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Automate CI/CD pipelines for distributed environments.
• Implement zero-downtime blue-green deployments.
• Maintain and extend CI/CD tooling to support field deployments.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm.
• Enable secure, reliable, low-latency distributed systems.
• Lead cross-team collaboration and provide senior design guidance.
