Job summary

Giesler LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (Mid) to join our distributed operations team supporting the DoD Spectral program. You will develop real-time software for distributed environments, focusing on high availability, low latency, and scalable systems while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver features end-to-end.

Responsibilities include coding, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD deployment of modular apps across on-prem and cloud-enabled platforms, with a TS/SCI eligible clearance

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and familiarity with frameworks; Agile/DevSecOps mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications per Spectral requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on system requirements and design solutions.
• Generate clean, efficient code and perform code reviews for quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize to improve performance and scalability.
• Deploy modular apps with CI/CD into distributed environments.
