Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer 5 to design and sustain secure, scalable pipelines across classified environments. You will enable high-quality, reliable software delivery by embedding security throughout the development lifecycle and guiding teams on best practices.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and mentor engineers while ensuring STIG compliance and secure cloud architectures in AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
• 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps or similar roles focusing on infrastructure automation, scalability, and reliability across the software lifecycle.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps services across multiple classified domains.
• Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions across multiple classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines from scratch in GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins with integrated security scanning and STIG validation.
• Provide expert guidance on pipeline troubleshooting and DevSecOps best practices.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates using CloudFormation, architecting secure AWS environments (GovCloud, C2S, TC2S).
• Ensure STIG compliance and mentor junior engineers in IaC best practices.
• Lead troubleshooting using Linux command-line tools and perform root cause analysis for mitigation.
