Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to secure and manage the software delivery lifecycle for enterprise applications. You will work with developers, system engineers, and security professionals to implement automation, CI/CD, and cloud security across environments.

The role emphasizes security tooling, proactive risk assessment, and collaboration to improve tooling quality and reduce vulnerabilities. This is a hybrid role with in-office work in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of IT/security experience.
• Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS and DevSecOps tooling (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).
• Experience across security-focused CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Simplify security inter-workings with CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and share advanced security practices within the team.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security in engineering design and deployments.
• Supervise testing of application security controls across projects.
• Draft and uphold CI/CD security strategy in coordination with tech leads.
• Serve as point of contact for security escalations and resolutions.
• Develop tools to enable secure software delivery.
