Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to secure and optimize the software delivery lifecycle across enterprise apps. You will work with software developers, engineers, and security teams to embed security early in CI/CD and cloud workflows.

The role requires strong automation, Python expertise, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS. This hybrid role is based in Irvine, CA, with in-office collaboration three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of information technology or security operations experience.
• Experience with agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands-on containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Simplify automation that applies security within CI/CD pipelines.
• Build relationships with developers and stakeholders to promote security practices.
• Oversee defensive practices across infrastructure and applications.
• Draft and uphold CI/CD security strategy and related standards.
• Define KPIs and metrics across teams to measure security outcomes.
