Auto Club Enterprises in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into engineering platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and developer workflows. You will lead secure‑by‑default practices across on‑premise and cloud environments, building scalable security tooling and automating controls.

The role requires 5+ years in DevSecOps/DevOps, with AWS/Azure, containers, scripting (Python/Bash), and strong collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in DevSecOps/DevOps/security engineering roles
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and modern app stacks
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure or GCP and container platforms
• Strong scripting (Python/Bash) and Linux/Git knowledge
• Excellent technical communication and cross-team collaboration
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD and Agile practices
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices

Responsibilities

• Embed automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines across build, test, and release stages.
• Build and maintain internal DevSecOps tooling and platform extensions.
• Monitor production and cloud environments to detect misconfigurations or intrusions.
• Drive cloud-native security architecture across AWS and Azure.
• Evaluate and integrate security tools to standardize and simplify security.
• Translate regulatory requirements into automated engineering controls for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with developers on secure coding and safe cloud configurations.
• Lead vulnerability management and remediation across environments and participate in threat modeling.
