Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in Irvine, CA. You will own DevSecOps end-to-end, craft secure, scalable pipelines, and enable developers with secure tooling.

You will lead with hands-on engineering, collaborate across teams, and drive security through modern automation. Applicants should have 7+ years in IT/engineering, strong Python and AWS skills, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience including CI/CD, Kubernetes, containers, IaC, Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS with ability to build, automate, deploy, and operate solutions.
• End-to-end ownership and technical leadership across design, implementation, and optimization.
• Interest in agentic software development to accelerate feature delivery and quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams; explains risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own DevSecOps solutions end to end from design to operation and improvement.
• Build and improve services and tools enabling developers to easily use security capabilities.
• Lead engineering standards and direct contractor delivery while remaining hands-on.
• Partner with multiple teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Drive metrics and reduce false positives while improving platform quality.
