Job summary

Hyperproof is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own Azure-based infrastructure across multiple regions, including FedRAMP environments. You will implement secure CI/CD, Terraform/Terragrunt IaC, and GitOps workflows while maintaining continuous compliance and strong security postures.

You will collaborate across security, product, and engineering to translate federal requirements into scalable architecture, guiding teams to improve efficiency and velocity in secure deployments.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship, residing and working from within the United States.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in SRE, DevSecOps or Platform engineering with Azure focus.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or Node.js.
• Expertise in Kubernetes security, IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt), GitOps, Ansible, CI/CD security, observability, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and optimization of Azure-based infrastructure across regions.
• Own and evolve Terraform/Terragrunt IaC pipelines with multi-subscription promotion.
• Architect secure, scalable platform infra with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
• Support FedRAMP authorization activities and readiness assessments.
• Establish security/compliance architecture patterns (encryption, segmentation, secrets).
• Drive technology decisions for cloud platforms and security controls.
• Mentor teams through architecture reviews and best practices.
• Translate federal customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Monitor and remediate CVEs to maintain FedRAMP posture.
