Job summary

Hyperproof is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own and optimize our Azure-based infrastructure across commercial and FedRAMP environments. You will implement secure, scalable platform infrastructure with IaC, CI/CD, and GitOps practices while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with security, product, and business leaders to translate federal requirements into practical architectures and drive continuous improvement in security posture and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in SRE, DevSecOps, or Platform engineering focusing on Azure-based infrastructure.
• Experience applying AI to automate compliance and security workflows.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Bash, Go, or Node.js) and ability to drive complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and optimization of Azure-based infrastructure across commercial and FedRAMP regions.
• Own and evolve IaC pipelines with Terraform/Terragrunt for multi-subscription promotions.
• Architect secure, scalable platform infra with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes, with security gates.
• Support FedRAMP authorization activities including SSP documentation and 53 control implementations.
• Design and secure on-prem build/test platform parity with AKS patterns for SOC 2 compliance.
• Establish security and compliance architecture across encryption, network segmentation, secrets management, and incident response.
• Drive technology choices for cloud platforms, compliance tooling, and security controls.
• Mentor teams through architecture reviews and FedRAMP best practices.
