Job summary

Catapult Federal Services seeks a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a fully remote, 9-month contract. The role centers on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP, with Terraform and Kubernetes, and strong CI/CD automation.

You will work in US Eastern or Central hours and help drive security, reliability, and software delivery. Candidates should have 6–8+ years in DevOps or related fields, and be eligible to work without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in software development, DevOps, or related field.
• Strong hands-on Azure experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with AWS and GCP including IaC deployment and Terraform troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle — research, prototyping, solution design, development, documentation, testing.
• Contribute to deployment automation and configuration management tools.
• Develop automation and tooling in scripting languages using agile methodologies.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes to deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps.
• Build, improve, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Infrastructure-as-Code deployments (Terraform) across AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to share knowledge.
• Adhere to standards, policies, and procedures for security and compliance.
• Manage database service levels and performance.
