Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support AOUSC PACER systems. The role emphasizes secure software development, PCI compliance, and maintaining enterprise-class systems across the SDLC.

You will work within the PACER Development team on registration, authentication, billing, and access reports, while ensuring secure engineering practices and continuous improvement through Agile processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT system engineering, development, or programming experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of security compliance and security controls.
• Experience with end-to-end DevSecOps pipelines and RedHat Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support PACER-related systems and internal tools.
• Ensure PCI and security standard compliance through secure development practices.
• Contribute to SDLC activities across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Build secure web services using SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML/JSON, and related technologies.
• Design scalable, resilient software solutions and document use cases and test results.
• Participate in Agile planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Review requirements and artifacts for feasibility and impact analysis.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and source code repositories; support change control.
