Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join the PACER Development team supporting AOUSC. You will develop, operate, and secure systems enabling public access to court records, including PACER registration, authentication, billing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT system engineering, development, and programming.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of security compliance and PCI/FISMA.
• Proficient in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and Linux shell.
• Experience with end-to-end DevSecOps pipelines.
• Experience with RedHat Linux and cloud APIs.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Preferred: Perl

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support PACER account registration and management systems.
• Monitor PCI and other security standards through secure development practices.
• Conduct lifecycle activities: requirements gathering, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain.
• Develop secure web services using SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and JSON.
• Design and create efficient, scalable, resilient software solutions.
• Create and document use cases, test cases, and validation results.
• Participate in Agile planning, retrospectives, demos, and stand-ups.
• Review requirements and design artifacts; provide impact analysis.
• Define, document, and maintain architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Implement secure engineering practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance (ATO, PCI, FISMA).
• Perform performance analysis, capacity planning, and COOP/DR planning.
• Manage configurations, version control, and CI/CD pipelines; support change control.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for Technical Points of Contact.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to reduce technical debt and sustain viability.
