Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks an experienced SR DevSecOps Engineer to support the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. You will develop and maintain PACER-related systems, ensure PCI and security standards, and collaborate across the SDLC in an Agile setting.

Required 5+ years of IT/system engineering experience, a CS-related bachelor's degree, and strong DevSecOps expertise on Linux environments. This role entails security-first engineering and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT system engineering, systems development, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of security compliance and security controls.
• Proficient in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Linux shell.
• Experience with end-to-end automated DevSecOps pipelines and RedHat Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support PACER-related systems and internal tools.
• Monitor PCI and security standards compliance through secure development practices.
• Gather, analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain software across the SDLC.
• Develop secure web services using SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and JSON.
• Design and document use cases, test cases, and validation results.
• Participate in an Agile environment with planning, retrospectives, demos, and stand-ups.
• Review requirements, architecture, and design artifacts and prepare documentation.
