Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering organization.

You will lead as a senior technical leader responsible for infrastructure and embedding security throughout the engineering lifecycle, defining DevSecOps strategy across cloud and CI/CD ecosystems. You will architect secure-by-design cloud-native systems on AWS/GCP, establish guardrails and reference architectures, and mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices while aligning with

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software or security engineering with DevSecOps exposure.
• Strong cloud architecture experience on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience designing and securing containerized/Kubernetes environments.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or CloudFormation and secure IaC pipelines.
• Knowledge of application security, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Architect secure-by-design cloud-native systems across AWS/GCP environments.
• Establish security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures for engineering teams.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks to reduce manual overhead.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated governance controls.
• Support and mature the security program in alignment with HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, and other frameworks.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance.
