Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the security and scalability of our cloud-native platforms across AWS and GCP.

You will define the DevSecOps strategy, embed security into the engineering lifecycle, and partner with teams to raise our security posture and ensure HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST alignment. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, implement policy-as-code, and mentor engineers while working with cross-functional stakeholders to drive risk-based decisions and

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software/infrastructure/security engineering with DevSecOps experience.
• Deep cloud architecture knowledge in AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with containerized/Kubernetes environments and IaC pipelines.
• Strong security principles, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices.
• Scripting/programming skills (Python/Go/Ruby or similar).
• Security certifications (CISSP/CISM/CCSP or cloud security certs) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Architect secure-by-design cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP.
• Establish security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Implement policy-as-code and governance controls.
• Apply network segmentation, zero-trust, and environment isolation.
• Mature security program aligned with HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance.
