Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering organization.

You will lead security-centric initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, and CI/CD, embedding DevSecOps practices into the software lifecycle to protect patient data and ensure scalable delivery. You will architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP, establish guardrails and policy-as-code, and mentor engineers on secure coding.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of cloud security architecture in AWS/GCP.
• Experience building and securing containerized/Kubernetes environments.
• IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation and secure IaC pipelines.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Scripting in Python/Go/Ruby and infrastructure automation.
• Proven ability to lead DevSecOps initiatives end-to-end.
• Background in SRE or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead DevSecOps strategy across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems on AWS/GCP.
• Establish security patterns and reference architectures.
• Design, secure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated governance.
• Enforce network segmentation and zero-trust controls.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance.
• Support HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST alignment and risk prioritization.
